I had been a pretty avid Twitter user since January 2009, so when the site got co-opted by one of my least favorite people alive today, I was pretty annoyed, to say the least. I stayed for a while before I decided to leave in December 2025, which is still much longer than I intended to be around after November 2022.

It's funny, because when I returned to fandom - particularly MDZS - after my hiatus in 2020, I decided to see if I could game the algorithm with strategic posting. And I did; using a social media strategy for fun, I accumulated far more followers than I've ever had online in my life. So even though I've been a Twitter user for a while, I really only got most of my hit tweets in my last 5 years of using it.

Before I deleted my account, I saved those tweets, as well as other things in my bookmarks, which are now all on this webpage. These aren't in any order because I can't be bothered and because it doesn't matter. I suppose on some level, this is a shrine to what used to be Twitter, a relic of a period of enjoyment, no matter how brief. Or how long, really, considering I had basically been using Twitter for over half my life by the time I quit for good.

RIP Twitter, you were great but dead to me now.
