While not nearly as fruitful as last year, 2025 had some pretty incredible drops for me: MAYHEM by Lady Gaga, Man's Best Friend by Sabrina Carpenter (my second favorite most misunderstood album of the year), and of course, The Life of a Showgirl by Taylor Swift, which is now one of my most streamed albums of all time. This year itself pretty throwback indulgent for me, and my music listening habits were as well. I didn't list all of the songs I revisited for brevity's sake, but the ones that were sustainable hyperfixations are here. Overall it was a fun transitional period in my life, mirrored both in my interests and music.
