Eduardo is a foreign exchange student. Mark’s family hosts him.

Mark is in a skirt and Eduardo is half naked and they’re on a balcony in Venice.
Anyway, Facebook is gonna be the next big thing and when Sean goes inside the house he stops in his tracks because there, in the kitchen, is basically the giant roadblock into Facebook becoming that thing, to surpass all expectations and take advantage of all the luck that’s been handed to them on a silver platter. Shattering those things is–or will be, undoubtedly–Eduardo Saverin, sitting at the kitchen counter with his head in his hands.
A high school love story that is for some reason centered around dentistry.
(“Maybe it was a diversity thing,” Mark says. “But so what?”
Eduardo doesn’t really reply, just says, “I’ll let you know how the party is,” before going back into the building, leaving Mark out in the cold.)
Chris says, “So. Back to your obvious crush on Eduardo.”
There’s no point in hiding it when Chris is gay and honest. Mostly honest. Well, he’s really gay, too. “Yeah,” Mark says resolutely.
“I’d hit that,” Chris says.
Gay and honesty, right there.
Once, you’d thought that the hardest part of work was the public speaking.
Since the depositions, it’s gotten a little more complicated than that.
